Your Manuscript. Your Rights.

Your manuscript belongs to you. Uploading pages here does not give us ownership, a licence to publish, or any claim over your work. You keep every right you had before you arrived.

Your writing is processed only to provide the editing service you requested. When you submit a pass, the text you selected is sent to the AI editing service that produces your feedback, and the feedback is returned to you. Nothing else is done with it.

We do not use your manuscript to train AI models. We send your pages only to the AI provider needed to perform the requested editorial pass, and we configure the provider settings that are available to us to avoid training on, or retaining, your content.

We can’t promise that no third-party infrastructure ever temporarily processes your text — performing the edit requires sending it somewhere. What we can promise is that it goes only where the service you asked for requires, and nowhere else.

Uploaded files are held in private storage, and saved manuscripts and feedback are held in a private database. Both are restricted to your own account: another author cannot list, open, or search your pages, and your manuscript content is never placed in a public web address.

We keep your pages only while they’re useful to you — so you can revisit a project or compare passes — and not longer than needed to provide the service.

You can delete an individual file or an entire project from your workspace at any time. Deletion removes the stored file and its project record, and it cannot be undone, so we always ask you to confirm first.

Editorial feedback is generated by an AI model provider on our behalf. That provider receives the passage you submitted and the editorial instructions for the chair you chose. We keep this privacy page updated to reflect the provider’s actual retention and training settings rather than making claims we haven’t verified.

Accounts are protected by authenticated sign-in, and access rules on both the database and file storage are written so that a request can only ever reach the signed-in author’s own rows and files. Files are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored by our storage provider on encrypted disks. We avoid logging manuscript text, prompts, or feedback content.

We don’t claim any certification or formal security standard we haven’t actually completed.
